Athletic Disclosures Data

(CONSUMER INFORMATION DISCLOSURE)


The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act is a federal law requiring all colleges and universities to publicly report data comparing the funding and opportunities available to male and female athletes and coaches. Data is submitted annually (by October 15) to the Department of Education and may be viewed on their website.

Notes
Fall Cohort: Groups of students who have enrolled at IECC for the first time during the fall semester of a given academic year. These cohorts consist of full-time, first-time degree or certificate seeking students.
Students who received athletically-related aid: Students at IECC who have received financial aid specifically for athletic participation.  
When a cohort contains fewer than 5 students,  the corresponding data is suppressed (replaced by <5) to protect student privacy.     
Data Sourcing
IECC's E1 Data Submissions (Internal data submitted annually to the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) that tracks fall enrollment.)  
ICCB Microdata (Data submitted to ICCB and subsequently reported to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).)  
Transfer values are based on aligning E1 cohorts to National Student Clearinghouse Student Tracker data; transfers are limited to 4-year institutions.
