The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning fosters continual learning and instructional best practices. Our Professional Development Series offers five specialized Micro-Certificate pathways, allowing you to customize your learning based on your professional goals and aspirations.

Courses are offered on a rotating schedule across Fall, Spring, and Summer terms to provide maximum flexibility.

Recognition & Incentives

Micro-Certificate & Digital Badge

Upon completion of six required courses, participants receive an official Micro-Certificate in Professional Development and a digital badge for professional portfolios and email signatures.

Professional Development Grant

IECC Adjunct Instructors who complete their first Micro-Certificate are awarded a $500 professional development grant. Funds may be used for conference travel, certifications, books, or related professional activities.

Institutional Recognition

Program completers are recognized through CETL newsletters, website highlights, faculty meeting spotlights, and graduation ceremonies. Completion records are forwarded to HR and supervisors for inclusion in personnel files.

  1. Visit the CETL website to view current course offerings and schedules
  2. Complete the IECC student registration process
  3. Contact your campus advisor for assistance with course selection and planning
  4. Enroll in your chosen courses through the standard registration system
