Travel back in time to explore the exciting prehistoric world of dinosaurs through short lessons and hands-on activities. Students will learn about different fossil types and create their own fossils.

Learn about nutrition and healthy eating while developing basic food preparation skills through preparation of healthy snacks and simple meals.  Students will also hone their skills by participating in food challenges.

Learn to make origami animals using the art of paper folding. The ancient art of origami is not only fun, but it also enhances problem solving skills and focus.

Discover and nurture budding writers through this engaging, interactive young author classes for kids. Creativity will ignite while kids will hone their skills while designing and writing their own short story with illustrations.  Young authors will get to bind their book at the completion of the class.

Students will design a unique pattern using rubber bands and dye to create their own individualized tie-dye T-shirt. It is recommended students wear an old shirt in the event of a mess.

Discover the world of robotics while learning to build and program robots to accomplish various tasks.  Students will also get to participate in robot competitions.

Camp CSI: Shark Attack • June 20, 2024 • 9 a.m.-12 p.m. • $25

For Grades 4-8 • CRN

Shark attacks have been menacing Australian beachgoers.  This guided-investigation will expose students to the fundamental principles of DNA fingerprinting.  Use gel electrophoresis to compare DNA fingerprints from the shark attacks and determine if a single shark is to blame.

Take your creativity in origami to the next level.  This is class will include more complex creation and design.  Students begin with the Basic Origami class, and advance to this Origami 2.0 class.  For experienced creators, learn new styles in this brand new 2.0 class.

Come learn about art from around the world.  Explore art from various countries to develop and understanding of the techniques used to create various pieces of art.  Students will create their own unique works of art from other countries in the class.
