The IECC logo is a key element of our brand identity, representing our mission, values, and reputation. Consistently using the correct logo ensures a professional, recognizable, and unified image across all communications.

Primary Logos
To maintain flexibility and ensure the logo is always legible and visually appealing, IECC provides variations of its logos for each college and the district.

Guidelines for Using Alternate Logos
- Alternate logos must always be used in accordance with branding guidelines to maintain visual consistency.
- They should never replace the official college logo in formal communications or academic materials.
- Proper color schemes and sizing should be maintained to ensure clarity and recognition.
- Logos should not be altered, stretched, or combined with other graphic elements in a way that compromises their integrity.
Athletic Logos
Athletic logos provide a bold and spirited identity for our college sports teams while maintaining alignment with the overall IECC brand.
When to Use Athletic Logos
- For athletic team uniforms, merchandise, and promotional materials.
- In marketing and social media content related to sports programs, events, and recruitment.
- For athletic facility signage, banners, and digital displays that promote school spirit.
- On licensed apparel, fan gear, and sponsorship materials associated with college athletics.

Guidelines for Using Athletic Logos
- Athletic logos should be used exclusively for sports-related communications and promotional materials.
- They should not be used in place of the official academic or institutional logo for formal documents, administrative communications, or academic branding.
- Color integrity must be maintained to ensure brand consistency and visibility.
- Logos should not be altered, distorted, or combined with other design elements that compromise their recognizability.
- Merchandise and apparel featuring athletic logos must follow licensing and approval processes to ensure brand compliance.

Proper logo usage ensures that the IECC brand maintains its strength and consistency across all applications.
General Logo Usage Guidelines
- Maintain Clear Space: Always leave adequate space around the logo to ensure visibility and impact.
- Minimum Size: To maintain legibility, never reproduce the logo smaller than 1 inch wide for print or 100 pixels wide for digital applications.
- Color Accuracy: Use only the approved brand colors. Never alter the colors of the logo unless using an approved black or white version.
- Background Control: Ensure the logo is placed on backgrounds that provide sufficient contrast.
- Digital Resolution: For digital applications, use the appropriate file format: PNG for web and presentations, SVG for responsive web applications, and JPEG for email.
- Print Resolution: For printed materials, use high-resolution files (300 dpi or higher) to maintain quality.
Logo Do's and Don'ts
DO: Use Proper Spacing

Maintain adequate clear space around the logo to ensure visibility and impact.
DON'T: Crowd the Logo

Never place the logo too close to text, other graphics, or the edge of a document.

Always scale the logo proportionally to avoid distortion.

Never stretch, compress, or otherwise distort the logo's proportions.

Special Applications
- Email Signatures: Use the provided email signature templates that include properly sized and positioned logos.
- Social Media Profiles: Use the square-format social media icon versions of the logos for profile pictures.
- Merchandise: All merchandise featuring IECC logos must be approved through the Office of Marketing and Communications.
- Partnerships: When displaying our logo alongside partner logos, maintain appropriate spacing and ensure comparable sizing.
- One-time Events: Special event logos that incorporate or modify IECC logos must be approved by the Marketing department.
