PTA Clinical Education Handbook
The PTA Clinical Handbook is intended to aid students, Clinical Instructors, faculty, and staff of IECC who will be monitoring students in the clinical agency. Clinical education is a crucial component of the physical therapist assistant curriculum. It allows the student to fully integrate the skills learned during didactic and laboratory college courses.
Please familiarize yourself with the information throughout the PTA Program Clinical Education Handbook. Students will be expected to follow the policies outlined in this manual as well as the Program Handbook.
PTA Clinical Affiliation Agencies (Subject to Change)
The PTA program at Wabash Valley College includes 640 hours of clinical education. We are appreciative of the facilities for cooperating in the education of our physical therapist assistant students.
