- Apply and create an IECC student account by visiting our website.
- Register for the relevant CETL courses that align with your professional development goals.
Below you will find steps for registration. If you have previously filled out an IECC student application before, please click on "I HAVE Filled Out An IECC Course Application Before". If you have not filled out an IECC student application, please click "I HAVE NOT Filled Out An IECC Course Application Before".

If you already have an account, you're just a few clicks away from registering for your desired courses through Entrata. Here's what you need to do:
- Login to your account on Entrata.
- Click on the STUDENTS tab on the left-hand side.
- Select REGISTRATION from the options on the right-hand side.

Follow these steps to enroll:
- Go to www.iecc.edu/apply and click on Frontier Community College (regardless of your campus).
- Click on CREATE ACCOUNT and fill in your basic information:
- Name, Email, and Birthdate
- Enter Current Term
- Admit Type = I already have a degree
- Location = Frontier Community College
- Program = Voc Skills General VS-VSKGE4
- Set your password and click CREATE ACCOUNT
- Click CREATE NEW APPLICATION and complete the application.
- After completing your application, check your email (from accounts@iecc.edu) for ENTRATA portal setup instructions.
- Set up your ENTRATA portal following the instructions provided.
- In Entrata, click on the STUDENT tab on the left and select REGISTER FOR CLASSES.
- Contact or schedule an appointment with an advisor for a PIN code required to register for courses.
- Pick your classes from the list below and use Self-Service to register for your upcoming training.
Get ready to dive into the world of teaching with our Tier 1 course! We'll equip you with essential pedagogical knowledge, introduce you to Quality Matters, and empower you with effective course design and educational technology tools.
- This course is asynchronous, self-paced, and delivered via the dynamic Canvas platform.
- You'll join a defined cohort with specific start and end dates, creating a supportive learning community.
- It takes approximately 16 hours to complete, but the knowledge you'll gain is worth every second.
- Adjunct instructors, you'll enroll and complete the TIER 1 - EDU 1600 course during your first semester of teaching with IECC, alongside a cohort of educators.
- Satisfactory completion of the course within the termed cohort comes with a $300 stipend.
- Upon timely and successful completion of TIER 1 - EDU 1600, you'll receive a pay increase of twenty dollars per equated hour.
- For example, if you're currently being paid $535 per equated hour, you'll enjoy an increase to $555 per equated credit hour.
- Your base pay increase will be effective at the beginning of the semester following course completion.
- Tuition and fees for the TIER 1 - EDU 1600 course are fully waived.
- The CETL (Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning) will monitor your progress and report it to the Deans.

Get recognized for your educator excellence!
By completing the IECC Orientation course, TIER 1 - EDU 1600, and TIER 2 - EDU 1605, you can earn the prestigious Educator Excellence Badge and unlock TIER 3 of training.
To achieve the Educator Excellence Badge, adjunct instructors must:
- Choose an upcoming course to be evaluated within 12 months of satisfactorily completing the TIER 1 - EDU 1600 and TIER 2 - EDU 1605 coursework.
- Use the Educator Excellence form to request a course evaluation date and time.
- Complete and submit the Self-Evaluation form by emailing it to cetl@iecc.edu. Make sure to download and save the Self-Evaluation .PDF document to your personal computer before completion.
- Coordinate the evaluation date collaboratively with CETL and the adjunct instructor.

Continue your professional growth with Tier 3 courses!
After successfully completing the Educator Excellence Badging process, it's essential to engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching skills and stay current in your field. Adjunct faculty are required to earn a minimum of 1 credit hour of Tier 3 or above professional development every two years as a condition of continued employment.
The CETL offers a wide range of educational opportunities and Tier 3 professional development courses for adjunct faculty to choose from.
Benefits of Tier 3 professional development include:
- Receiving a $300 stipend upon the completion of 1 credit hour of Tier 3 professional development. Note that a maximum of 1 credit hour is reimbursable every two years.
- A pay increase of twenty dollars per equated hour upon timely and successful completion of a Tier 3 course.
- Eligibility for the Tier 3 base pay increase, effective at the beginning of the semester following the completion of Tier 3 course(s) totaling 1 credit hour.
- Full waiver of tuition and fees for Tier 3 courses.
Note that adjuncts are only eligible for this Tier 3 base pay increase once.
The CETL will closely monitor and report your course progress to the Deans.
