About the Program

This hands-on certificate program prepares you for entry-level careers with gas utilities and pipeline contractors. You'll gain real-world skills in gas main and service installation, safety protocols, and DOT Operator Qualifications (OQ) readiness.

The training runs as two full weeks of work-day instruction rather than spread across a semester, so you finish and start applying in under a month. Upon completion, you'll be job-ready with practical experience and industry-recognized certifications that employers actively seek.

Week One Five days, 8:00 AM โ€“ 6:00 PM. Safety fundamentals, materials, and equipment familiarization.
Week Two Five days, 8:00 AM โ€“ 6:00 PM. Full field application, installation practice, and OQ readiness.
