Get involved at Frontier Community College! Joining a student organization gives you the opportunity to meet fellow classmates and make friends, serve your campus and community, develop leadership skills, and more. Student organizations can also provide college credit as you work towards your certificate or degree.
You may join some student organizations based on your interests or skills, while others have certain requirements before gaining membership. Contact your advisor or call 618-842-3711 to inquire about joining a student organization.

The FCC Active Minds chapter hosts student events to promote connection and mental health. The club conducts recruitment projects, fundraisers, and other activities. The club meets on Mondays bi-weekly at noon in the FCC Learning Commons.

The National Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (N-OADN) Alpha Delta Nu recognizes top associate degree nursing students. To be considered for membership, students must have completed their first year of nursing, have attained a 3.0 overall GPA and earned a B or better in the core nursing courses.
Students must have demonstrated conduct on campus and in the clinical areas that reflects both integrity and professionalism. They must also enroll in the NUR 2201 (fall semester) and NUR 2202 (spring semester) courses. To be awarded full membership, students must finish their third semester of nursing and complete a group capstone project, which focuses on either recruitment or educational activities.

The One Love Christian Club exists to encourage students in their daily walk with Christ while on campus. Members meet weekly in the Learning Resource Center to partake in devotions, fellowship, and prayer. At the beginning of the school year, members decide on a verse to serve as focus scripture for the year. Service activities are organized throughout the year and are directed towards the community. One Love Christian Club is always looking for opportunities to serve both the campus and our local community.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is an international honor society that recognizes academic excellence among two-year colleges throughout the world. PTK seeks to encourage academic achievement from students and provides opportunities for growth and development through honors, leadership, and service programming. FCC is a member of the Beta Alpha Lambda chapter of Phi Theta Kappa.
To be eligible for PTK membership, students must be enrolled in an Associate's Degree program, having completed 12 hours of coursework with a 3.5 grade point average. Membership is offered by invitation only from the club advisor.
Students of PTK have several opportunities to be involved on campus and in our local community. The club meets regularly to discuss and plan activities, fundraisers, and campus involvement. Students help with events on campus, including New Student Orientation, Trunk or Treat, recruitment events, and more.

The Student Nurses Association (SNA) is open to students who are currently enrolled in the Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) program on Frontier's campus. Members must be enrolled in a NUR 1208 or NUR 2208 course. Within the semester during which a student is enrolled in either of these courses, the student shall:
- Understand the Illinois Eastern Community Colleges Student Nurses Association bylaws
- Attend SNA campus meetings and one district-wide SNA meeting per semester
- Maintain a mentor-mentee relationship with another student enrolled in the Nursing Program
- Complete 15 hours of required contact for 1 college credit
SNA members also participate in community activities during their time in the organization. On campus, members hold monthly bake sales in the Learning Resource Center, as well as other fundraisers, to cover costs associated with organizational trips and activities.

Student Senate is an organization that acts as a voice for the student body to promote the academic and social welfare of students at FCC. Members not only represent their fellow students, but also act on their behalf and in their best interest. The Student Senate club is comprised of new and returning students who are elected or may be appointed to serve.
Student Senate meets with the FCC administration at least once per semester to be aware of campus developments and news. The club also conducts various fundraisers throughout the year to raise funds for club activities as well as a $500 scholarship. Only Student Senate members are eligible for the annual scholarship.
The club coordinates and assists with campus and community activities, including:
- Breakfast with Santa
- Pet Therapy Day
- Meet the Candidates political forums
- NCAA bracket challenge fundraiser
- Trunk or Treat (featuring all student clubs)
- FCC Foundation events
- Wayne County Scholastic Bowl Tournament
