LTC Enjoys Total Eclipse
Lincoln Trail College students and employees took part in a once-in-a-lifetime event with the April 8 total solar eclipse.
While the day was an online learning day, there was still no shortage of activity on the campus, which was in the path of totality. The Statesmen Grill offered an eclipse-themed menu. LTC offered eclipse-themed snacks during the event and also played eclipse-themed music.

OCC Music Department Concerts April 10 and April 24
Olney Central College’s Music Department will host its Contemporary Music Ensembles and Brass Band Concert on April 10, while the Big Band and Concert/Community Band will perform on April 24. Both performances will begin at 7 p.m. in the Dr. John D. Stull Performing Arts Center.
The Contemporary Music Ensembles will feature two separate bands under the direction of adjunct faculty Josh Moats and Trevor Parrent, both OCC graduates.

BWXT Visits LTC Welding Program, Makes Donation
Two representatives from BWX Technologies’ Mt. Vernon, Ind. location visited Lincoln Trail College’s welding program to talk with students and make a donation.
Josh Duncan and Jared Smith talked to students about BWXT work environment. The company does Naval nuclear work, powering submarines and aircraft carriers. They also design and fabricate specialty nuclear and non-nuclear components for United States government, commercial, and university locations.

Lady Warriors Reach Uncharted Territory

After a few exciting days in Casper, WY at the NCJAA Division l Women's Basketball Championship, the Lady Warriors have done what no Lady Warriors team in program history has done! For the first time in program history, the Lady Warriors have reached the NJCAA Final Four! In order to get to the Final Four, the Lady Warriors had to defeat the (18)Dogde Ciity Community College Lady Conquistadors in the second round as Wabash Valley had a first round bye as they were awarded the two seed in the tournament.

Lincoln Trail College inducted its newest members into the Alpha Iota Epsilon Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Phi Theta Kappa recognizes the academic achievement of college students and provides opportunities for its members to grow as scholars and leaders.

The annual Health Career Day event at Wabash Valley College was a resounding success, drawing in approximately 370 students from various area high schools and homeschools. The overwhelming turnout speaks volumes about the importance of providing opportunities for young minds to explore career options in the healthcare field.

The Lady Warriors basketball team has once again showcased their dominance on the court by clinching their 8th consecutive Region 24 championship. With this remarkable achievement under their belt, they are now gearing up for the ultimate challenge at the NJCAA national championship in Casper, Wyoming.

High School Artists Participate in Celebrate Art! at Lincoln Trail College
Over 70 high school artists in Crawford County participated in Lincoln Trail College’s Celebrate Art! event. The day gives artists a chance to be inspired by hearing from a guest artist. They also viewed artwork submitted to the Celebrate Art! contest and voted for a People’s Choice award.
