As the summer heats up and kids grow restless, Wabash Valley College is thrilled to announce Backyard Bash, a fantastic event dedicated to children and families in our community. On Friday, June 23rd, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, our campus will transform into a place of excitement, laughter, and free entertainment for all. This not-to-be-missed event will take place at Wabash Valley College, conveniently located on our sprawling campus. We invite families from near and far to join us for a day of endless fun in the sun.

LTC Children's Summer Theater Prepares for Productions
Lincoln Trail College’s Children’s Summer Theater is preparing for its productions of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka KIDS and Disney’s Newsies JR. Ticket sales for the productions begin June 15.

Olney Central College will host its Blue Knights Junior High Baseball Camp from 9 to 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19 at Dennis Conley Field. The camp is open to players in Grades 6-8. The cost is $50 payable the day of the event. Text 618-895-4315 to register.

Adventures of Tom Sawyer
The NEW WVC Originators proudly present a delightful combination of theatre and music with their upcoming production of "Adventures of Tom Sawyer." Led by Play Directors Carla Cadwalader and Assistant Director Colette Grigsly, alongside Stage Manager Eric Carrol, this enchanting play promises to captivate audiences of all ages.

Lincoln Trail College Spring 2023 Academic Honors
Lincoln Trail College has released its academic honor lists for the Spring 2023 Semester. Three lists have been established by Illinois Eastern Community Colleges to indicate students who have achieved academic excellence. They are the Chancellor’s Honors List, the President’s Academic Honors List, and the Dean’s Academic Honors List.   To qualify for any of the honor lists, a student must be enrolled full-time (12 hours or more) and must be taking college-level classes.

Lincoln Trail College student Nicholas Harness ('23) has a passion for blockchain and Web3 and that passion has led to him being an instrumental figure in the movement on campuses around the world. He’s the founder of the University Blockchain Alliance, an organization with the goal of making the blockchain space more accessible to students.
