IECC Course Review Checklist

Purpose & Instructions

Online Review: At IECC, the content of the internet course will be reviewed by a faculty member with subject matter expertise and the Board designee regularly to:

Ensure accuracy and functionality of course materials
Incorporate contemporary approaches to teaching and learning
Reflect changes in the face-to-face curriculum and/or learning outcomes
Change test banks and other assessment measures
Ensure compliance with section 508 and Quality Matters

Directions: Complete each section by providing a rating from 0 (lowest) to 10 (highest). Upon completion, click "Calculate Final Score." The final score should be 80 or above for the course to meet IECC standards. Send the completed assessment as a screenshot or printout via email to the CETL Director. For courses scoring below 80, CETL can provide recommendations and assistance for improvements.

5. Student Engagement	Interactive activities clearly explained, promoting student collaboration. (QM 5.3)
6. Assessment Alignment	Assessments align with measurable learning objectives and vary in type. Canvas Support (QM 3.1-3.3)
7. Grading & Feedback	Clear success criteria, grading policy, and timely feedback methods communicated. (QM 3.3)
8. Accessibility	Content meets universal design standards and ADA guidelines. Canvas Support (QM 8.1-8.3)
9. Multimedia Integration	Diverse media types (videos, audio, interactive) effectively support learning. (QM 4.5)
