GED Test Prep

General Educational Development (GED) classes are offered throughout the IECC district at no cost to eligible students.  Classes help prepare students for the computerized GED® exam, as well as college and career readiness.

GED® Test Preparation

GED® Test Preparation is offered on each college campus, as well as offsite locations in Clay, Edwards, Jasper, and Lawrence Counties. Online classes are available to qualifying students.

Classes are offered in eight-week segments and provide customized lesson plans and one-on-one support. GED® Test Prep reviews all of the subjects on the GED exam, including math, writing, reading, science, social studies, and the Constitution. Job preparation skills are also covered throughout the course of the class.

After completing the necessary courses, students can take the computerized GED® exam on any IECC campus (Frontier Community College, Lincoln Trail College, Olney Central College, Wabash Valley College).  Each campus has an approved Pearson Vue testing center, and computerized GED exams are currently available.
