The evaluation of student outcome data is an important indicator of a program’s effectiveness. Data that is collected for this purpose at Illinois Eastern Community Colleges include the percentage of students who finish the program (either by graduating or transferring out), retention rates, and licensure pass rates. Additionally, as an institution participating in Title IV Higher Education Act Programs, Illinois Eastern Community Colleges comply with federal law to disclose graduation, transfer-out, and retention information in compliance with the Student Right-to-Know Act.
Graduation and Transfer-Out Rates
This table reflects the percentage of students who began their education at IECC as full-time, first-time degree- or certificate-seeking students* and either completed their degree or certificate or transferred to another institution within 150% of "normal time" (i.e., 3 years for a 2-year degree; 1 1/2 years for a 1-year certificate). Data is derived from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) Graduation Rates Survey. The most recent data collected is also available on College Navigator by clicking on the campus name.
*Note that not all students at the institution are tracked for these rates. Students who have already attended another postsecondary institution, or who began their studies on a part-time basis, are not tracked for this rate.
