Jane McCormick joined Olney Central College as an instructor in 2021.

She attended North Central College where she earned a bachelor's degree as well as a master's degree in Computer Science. She also attended Aurora University where she received a master's degree in Education.

Jane has worked in the corporate arena with an emphasis on different aspects of software development as well as management of software engineers in these same areas. Jane brings much of her corporate experiences to the Information Systems Technology (IST) classrooms applying it directly to her teachings.

"I feel my desire to share my experiences with others and to motivate them to want to learn about IST will prepare them for a very successful future in this field of study. If the students decide to work after graduating from OCC or transfer to a university, they will be prepared for the many opportunities that exist in their future."

Barbara White

Barbara White is a full-time Technology Support Specialist for the Illinois Eastern Community Colleges District Office IT Department and an adjunct instructor teaching 100 percent remote classes for the Information Systems Technology (IST) program.

Barbara began working as a Technology Support Specialist in August 2020. The following January she started teaching part-time for the IST program with a focus in Cybersecurity and Networking courses.

After graduating from Olney Central College with an Associate in Science and Arts degree in May 2015, Barbara transferred to Eastern Illinois University where she was awarded two degrees. In May 2017, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business degree in Management Information Systems and a minor in Operations and Supply Chain Management. In May 2019, she graduated with a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity and a certification in Computer Technology.
