Music Camp

The Wabash Valley College Music Camp offers participants the opportunity to explore a diverse range of musical genres, including jazz, bluegrass, folk, country, classical, and Celtic music. Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate musician, our expert instructors will provide instrument training tailored to your skill level. The camp aims to foster a love for music and develop skills through engaging and interactive sessions.

The camp offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate diverse preferences. Participants can choose from morning, afternoon, or full-day sessions. For aspiring musicians aged 6-9, engaging morning beginning classes are available. Campers aged 10-100 can opt for a full-day experience or select either the morning or afternoon track, allowing for greater flexibility.

Instrument enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice as the camp provides instruction on an array of instruments, including guitar, ukulele, bass, cello, snare drum, fiddle, saxophone, trumpet, dulcimer, and piano. In addition to instrumental training, the camp will also feature unique demonstrations of musical instruments and songwriting, providing campers with a holistic understanding of music and its various facets.

For the convenience of our campers, ukuleles, dulcimers, snare drums, and pianos will be provided on-site. However, participants are welcome to bring their own instruments. Depending on the turnout, students may have the opportunity to rotate among the available instruments. For all other instruments, participants must bring their personal instruments. A detailed list of instrument offerings will be regularly updated on our Facebook page, "Wabash Valley College Music Camp."

The camp will also include lunch on-site for all campers. As an added bonus, campers will be treated to free concerts on July 27th and 28th, showcasing the talents of our esteemed instructors. These concerts are open to the public as well, and tickets will be available for purchase.

For further information and registration details, please contact 618-263-5122 or visit our Facebook page, "Wabash Valley College Music Camp." Registration will close on July 13th. Don't miss out on this extraordinary opportunity to embark on a musical journey like no other.
