Your child will get a chance to begin learning a second language in Lincoln Trail College’s Spanish for Kids class.
The four-week long program begins March 12, 2020 and meets from 6-7 p.m. on Thursdays. Children will learn some of the basic concepts of the Spanish language, including greetings and expressions of courtesy, the alphabet, numbers, colors, animals, and human body parts. Children will also learn cultural facts about many Latin American countries.
Spanish for Kids is intended for students who will be entering grades 3, 4, and 5. The cost of the program is $35. Parents can register their children for Spanish for Kids by calling 618-544-8657.
Spanish for Kids is a part of Lincoln Trail College’s Community Education program, which offers classes in the arts, health and recreation, professional skills, personal growth, and programs for kids.
