Miller Lake

When you arrive at Lincoln Trail College, you'll see beautiful Miller Lake. Paved walkways around the lake give you a chance to enjoy nature. The Lincoln Trail College Foundation Pavilion is a convenient place to gather outdoors and is home to events like the Welcome Back Blast and Craze Daze.

Miller Lake is named in honor of Ivan R. Miller, who played a major role in bringing Lincoln Trail College to Crawford County, IL. After 15 years of coordinated effort, LTC became a reality. He helped establish the Lincoln Trail College Foundation and served as the organization’s first president. He was a substantial donor to the college and Foundation for campus, programs, and scholarships.

Rod and Diana Harmon Tribute Trail

This beautiful scenic nature walk has been named in honor of Rod and Diana Harmon. Rod Harmon was an active and dedicated faculty member at Lincoln Trail College for 27 years, sharing his love for history with hundreds of students throughout his time at the Trail. After his retirement, he became Executive Director for the Lincoln Trail College Foundation where he has served for 20 years with his wife Diana by his side. Their united dedication to the College and Foundation has touched many lives. During his time as Executive Director for the Foundation among many other projects, he oversaw the renovation, creation, and maintenance of Miller Lake. It is a delightful view for everyone who comes onto our campus and a very tranquil place to walk and reminisce for this special couple.
