Public Service Management

Public service jobs include jobs that work in the public sector, but what are those jobs? Public service includes positions such as public safety, administration, and mayoral positions, education, nonprofit organizations, boards and committees, government agencies, as well as other positions that serve in the public sector. Students in this certificate program will learn fundamental skills in public service including implementing policy, management of public funds, public policy processes, data tools, and strategies for managing meetings. This certificate is beneficial to both those who already serve in public service roles and those interested in pursuing public service.
