Individuals interested in obtaining an Illinois Concealed Carry permit are encouraged to enroll in this course, which provides 16 hours of required firearms training, including classroom and range instruction. Participants receive instruction on how to safely handle a handgun while honing their marksman skills. They also will learn how to survive a real-world encounter and to maintain the proper mindset, skills and abilities that come with “bearing arms” for the purpose of self-defense. The course is designed for both the beginner and experienced shooter.
