Position overview
IECC is hiring Nursing Instructors for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track appointment with opportunity for summer assignment.
Responsibilities include teaching theory and clinical courses, developing clinical experiences, supervising clinical practicum, evaluating and counseling students, participating in assessment activities, and supporting online teaching. Local travel to healthcare and related sites is required.
What you’ll do
- Teach assigned theory and clinical courses
- Use active learning strategies and current educational technology
- Develop clinical experiences for students
- Serve as liaison among clinical instructors, agency staff, and students
- Supervise clinical practicum
- Evaluate and counsel students
- Participate in assessment activities and online teaching
What you’ll need
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Active, unencumbered Illinois and Indiana RN license
- At least two years of clinical experience
- Teaching experience preferred
- Comfort with multimedia instruction and innovative teaching techniques
- Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills
Salary and benefits
IECC offers a competitive salary range and a benefits package that supports you both professionally and personally.
Salary range
$44,293 to $89,862 per fiscal year, commensurate with education and experience.
