Generative AI

What is Generative AI?

GenAI or Generative AI is a kind of artificial intelligence tool or model that can produce new and original outputs in different media, such as text, images, video, audio, code, or other formats, based on a query or prompt. GenAI tools do this by learning from millions of online data samples and setting rules for how the tool should react when prompted.

GenAI can be used to make outputs that imitate human creation with varying levels of success. ChatGPT is a famous example of GenAI and is a complex chatbot that has been trained on a huge amount of text data to understand the patterns and structures of human language.
