Adult Education

Adults who need assistance with basic skills in reading, writing, and math can enroll in Adult Basic or Adult Secondary Education (ASE) courses. ASE courses will help prepare students for a high school equivalency exam, the GED® or HiSET®.

Adult Education also provides college and career readiness classes and  support to eligible students. Tuition and books for Adult Education courses are free to students through the Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) Grant from the Illinois Community College Board.   Additional information is available here.
