Five Ingredient Fix

Lincoln Trail College’s Spring Wellness Series continues on April 6 with a program that will help you make simple and nutritious meals.

The college is teaming up with the University of Illinois Extension for the free Five Ingredient Fix class at 5 p.m. on April 6. The class will teach you how you can make simple recipes that are tasty and good for you.

The course will cover what ingredient lend themselves to simple preparation. You can sample some recipes that use five ingredients or less, and you’ll also practice writing a menu with a short grocery list.

The class is free and open to the public and takes place at the Lincoln Trail College Library. You can register by calling 618-544-8657, ext. 1427. There is an April 5 registration deadline.
