SilverSneakers Classes Available at FCC's Bobcat Den


Did you know Frontier Community College (FCC) offers SilverSneakers fitness classes at The Bobcat Den in Fairfield?  Interested individuals can call FCC at 618-842-3711 to register today, or you may register by visiting the Student Services Office.  A complete listing of classes are available on FCC's course schedule, located here.  All fitness classes meet in Room 108 of The Bobcat Den on FCC's campus.

SilverSneakers is a free fitness program for seniors that partners with fitness centers across the gym.  Many names in the healthcare industry support and include SilverSneakers as a no-cost benefit, as the program provides excellent health benefits.  Fitness classes are designed specifically for seniors, and class instructors offer support every step of the way.  To learn more and find out if you qualify for the program, visit www.silversneakers.com.

CHAIR YOGA
Get ready to move through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered so you can perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. This class is suitable for nearly every fitness level.  Classes are instructed by Denise Hilliard and run in 4-week blocks (unless otherwise noted)

CARDIOFIT
Try a safe and heart-healthy aerobics class to energize your active lifestyle!  Workout routines use low-impact movements that focus specifically on building upper-body and core strength plus cardio endurance. All CardioFit classes are instructed by Donna Hilliard and run in 4-week blocks.
