Frontier Accepting Sealed Bids for Student-Built Storage Shed

Frontier Community College is now accepting sealed bids for the sale of a storage shed, recently built by students in the Construction Technology Program.  Bidding instructions and forms are currently available below, or hard copies are available in the Learning Resource Center.

The student-built storage shed measures 12’ wide and 16’ deep, with a 13’6” height.  The project, which was overseen by instructor Steve Brokaw, was constructed with T1-11 plywood siding and features a shingle roof and loft with interior and exterior access.

Individuals who would like to see the storage shed in person before bidding may call FCC at 618-842-3711 and make an appointment.  Business hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30AM-4PM.

The minimum bid amount is $3,000.  The college will accept sealed bids until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12.  Bids will be opened on Thursday, June 13.
