Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

While the colleges are closed to the public and most employees, the Financial Aid Office is still working remotely to support our students. Please don't hesitate to give us a call or send us an email to assist you!

Financial Aid processing for Spring 2020 semester is now on hold until at least April 8th. Regulations state that a student must receive his/her credit balance within 14 days. As we are not on site and are unable to print checks, we must hold off until we are able to return to the building.

New FAFSA information is still being processed! We will resume sending letters to students once we return to the office. But requirements for the 2020-2021 aid year can be found in Entrata within 3-5 days of submitting your FAFSA.

Information for High School Students

Take some time during the Governor's Shelter At Home order to prepare for life after high school!

  • Memorize your Social Security Number. This will be a required field on most, if not all, of the documents you complete throughout your entire adult life.
  • Learn how to endorse a check and complete a deposit slip. Scholarships are paid with a paper check, not electronically.
  • Practice advocating for yourself. After you turn 18, your parents will be unable to speak with your college, doctor, dentist, etc without your permission.
  • Create ONE email account to maintain forever. While you may have several account thanks to social media, make sure you have ONE account set up to apply for college, financial aid, scholarships, and future careers. Say your username out loud. Are you embarrased? Then take the time to pick something else.

2020-2021 Cost of Attendance

The table below represents the 9-month Cost of Attendance for a student taking 15 credit hours each Fall and Spring semester. These totals represent the ESTIMATED cost of living while attending college and does not reflect the actual amount owed to IECC. 2019-2020 COA can be located in the Financial Aid Handbook.
