Academic Success Center

To help students succeed in their classes, the Academic Success Center helps students meet academic needs through tutoring, placement testing, disability services and testing services.

The Academic Success Center, located in the Library, provides assistance for times when a student may be having difficulty with classwork. Preparatory courses are offered through the Academic Success Center in math, English, and reading.

Many students get discouraged at times with the routine grind of school. When this happens, students are encouraged to make contact with the staff of the Academic Success Center, who are prepared to help students through these times and over the academic rough spots. Students with Special Needs such as learning disabilities or physical disabilities are encouraged to inquire about accommodations in the Academic Success Center. By providing a copy of their IEP/504 Plan, students may be able to receive many of the same classroom accommodations they received in secondary school.
