WVC Approved as an Entitled Institution for Gateways to Opportunity Credentials

Wabash Valley College has been approved as an entitled institution for the Gateways to Opportunity ECE Credential – Levels 2, 3, and 4 through 2022.  As an entitled institution, students at Wabash Valley College have the opportunity to qualify for state-recognized credentials as they take courses or complete a degree through the Early Childhood Education department.

WVC Library Offers Fifth Annual Summer Reading and Science Program for Children

The Wabash Valley College Library will be offering their Summer Reading & Science program for children going into grades 1-4 in the Fall.  Program dates are July 9, 10, 11, and 12, with two sessions offered each day at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  This year’s theme is “Exploring WVC” and will involve students in WVC programs and allow the children to explore the campus.

Mike Carpenter, WVC Athletic  Director, has announced that the Wabash Valley College Athletic Department received “good news” from the NJCAA on Monday, with 20 Warrior/Lady Warrior Student-Athletes being named “NJCAA Academic All-American.”

WVC Volleyball Camp Offered July 9-12

Calling all volleyball enthusiasts!  Wabash Valley College will be offering a Volleyball Camp for girls this summer  on July 9-12 in the Spencer Sports Center.  Session I will be offered from 9:00 a.m. – 11 a.m. for grades 5-6-7-8, with Session II offered from 1:00 p.m.  – 3:00 p.m. for grades 9-10-11-12.  The cost is $90 for the 4-day camp.

WVC Free GED Test Prep Classes

Wabash Valley College is pleased to announce the upcoming Free GED Test Prep Classes which will be offered at Wabash Valley College.  The classes will be offered from July 3 to August 9 and will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (with a 30-minute lunch break), or 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the Applied Arts Building Room 104 at Wabash Valley College.
