Rena has been director of the Academic Success Center (formerly known as the Learning Skills Center) since 2010. She enjoys helping students succeed in all areas of their lives. She received her Associates in Arts and Sciences from Lincoln Trail College in 2008 and in 2010 a Bachelor's in Family and Consumers Sciences, Family Services from Eastern Illinois University. Being a firm believer in continuing education she takes additional classes, attends conferences and forums, webinars, and other useful learning formats.
Rena's door is always open to students as well as staff and faculty. One of her favorite quotes is:
