FSI Conference

IECC faculty, join the Faculty Summer Institute (FSI) on May 23-24, 2023 at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. This year's conference theme is "Designs for Learning", and it includes keynote presentations, networking, and hands-on training on modern technologies in education. Register through the CETL website by April 14, 2023. FSI is an annual conference supported by the Illinois Board of Higher Education, bringing educators and technology professionals together at the intersection of teaching, learning, and technology. What is FSI?

The FSI conference is an annual event that brings together educators and instructional-technology professionals each May at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The conference provides opportunities for networking, sharing of experiences, and hands-on training in modern communication and information technologies in education. The 2023 conference theme is "Designs for Learning," with the byline "Adapt, Evolve, Engage." Attendees can participate in receptions, activities, and concurrent sessions. The call for proposals opens on January 4, with a deadline of March 6, and the conference will take place from May 23-24, 2023.

  • All part-time and full-time faculty, as well as applicable staff, are welcome to register via the CETL website - do not register through the University of Illinois FSI site.

 

  • The first 25 IECC faculty/staff to register will have all conference costs covered, and a waiting list will also be available.

 

  • Attendees need to fill out the CETL registration form and fill out the IECC PD form and email to cetl@iecc.edu BY APRIL 14th, 2023. (Note: leave the "total cost and requested amount" sections blank)
