Testing Center

In the past, students have been required to travel to take different exams used for various certifications across numerous fields of study. Now students and the community alike will no longer be forced to travel long distances for testing. Thanks to the new space and credentials held by the college, FCC can now offer over 6,000 different official tests.

Standardized test to determine a high school student’s preparation for college level work. Test candidates should register on the ACT website.

A series of tests that evaluate students’ skills in reading, writing, and math to help college staff place them in courses that match their skills. Candidates should call the Academic Success Center to register. Study guides are available on the Accuplacer website.

Offered by Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, this is a test for candidates to become a CNA. Candidates should register on the website.

Pearson Vue offers computer- based testing for academic, government, and professional testing programs. Candidates should register on the website.

Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) tests are offered for certification and recertification. Candidates should register on the website.

The ParaPro Assessment is a general aptitude test that is required in many states for paraprofessional certification. It also offers school districts an objective assessment of your foundation of knowledge and skills. If you are wishing to take a ParaPro Assessment, call the Academic Success Center to register.
