Chester D. and Lizzie Mae Daniels Scholarship Awarded to Elise Thomason

Carlee Elise Thomason has the honor of being selected as the first recipient of the Chester D. and Lizzie Mae Daniels Scholarship at Wabash Valley College. 

The Chester D. and Lizzie Mae Daniels Scholarship has been established to assist Mt. Carmel High School graduates attending Wabash Valley College.  This one-year scholarship in the amount of up to $3,000 will be awarded to Mt. Carmel graduates pursuing a degree at Wabash Valley College.  The recipient must have no less than a 3.0/4.0 GPA. 

Carlee Elise Thomason is a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School and is the daughter of Marshall and Kim Thomason of Mt. Carmel.  She is in the Early Childhood Education program and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa.  She has been named to the Honors List and is the recipient of several other scholarships.  After WVC, Carlee plans to transfer to Oakland City University, with a future career goal of becoming an Early Childhood Teacher.
