OCC Automotive Classes Begin Aug. 17

Auto Students PhotoOlney Central College’s Automotive Service Technology Program is accepting new students for the fall semester.

If you enjoy working on cars and trucks, turn your hobby into a challenging and rewarding career. The program offers one- and two-year certificates as well as a two-year associate’s degree.

Trouble-shooting problems are a main focus of today’s technicians. While enrolled in OCC’s automotive program, students learn through hands-on training with the latest diagnostic equipment. After completing a degree, students will be qualified to maintain, diagnose and perform repairs on every major system in an automobile.

To register for classes, contact the OCC Student Services at 618-395-7777. To learn more about the program or to schedule a tour of the automotive facility, contact instructor Tyler Boyles at ext. 2521. Classes begin Aug. 17.
