FCC Hosting Shut the Front Door Painting Party

A Shut the Front Door painting party will be held at the Workforce Development Center of Frontier Community College (FCC) on Monday, November 20, from 6:30pm-8:30pm.  TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is hosting the event, and the public is invited to attend this evening of fun.

Created by Fairfield native Linnzi Baumann, Shut the Front Door is a family-friendly and entertaining paint party where participants can create and customize a hanging sign for a door.  Participants pay for a shaped cutout of their choice, and Shut the Front Door provides all the necessary supplies to paint it.  Children are also invited to attend, as there are smaller cutouts and fun shapes for them to choose from as well.

Anyone who is interested should complete an order form, which can be found on FCC’s Facebook page or website.  A complete list of cutout shapes to choose from is also provided and includes categories such as animals, characters, words, and seasonal.  Adult cutouts are $35, and child cutouts are $18.  Completed order forms with payment can be dropped off at or mailed to 2 Frontier Drive, Fairfield, IL 62837 (Attn: Annie Lankford).  If paying with check, please make checks out to Shut the Front Door.

For more information, or to place an order over the phone, call Annie Lankford, Director of TRIO SSS, at 618-842-3711.
