FCC Auto Students Excel in ASE Student Cert. Exams
Several Automotive Technology students at Frontier Community College recently completed their ASE (Automotive Services Excellence) Student Certification Exams with very successful outcomes.
Of those students testing in each category, 100% passed the Electrical/Electronic Systems portion, 100% passed the Automobile Service Technology portion, and 91% passed the Engine Performance portion. Nine students impressively ranked in the top 75th-99th percentile in the nation on their testing scores.
The Automotive Technology program at Frontier Community College is a NATEF (Nationnal Automotive Technician's Education Foundation) MASTER Level program and is taught by ASE certified instructors. Lead faculty member, Rodney Maxey, is Master ASE certified.
